How to order human revisions of AI text

Sometimes the AI makes mistakes, it’s not human after all. If you are doing large volumes of text and don’t want to edit all the posts yourself, you can order human revisions of the text. With just a few clicks you can request proofreading by a professional human editor.

This article will show you how.

Step 1: Navigate to your list of articles.

Click “My Articles” in the menu to the left or follow this link to your list of articles.

Step 2: Select the article(s) you want to have improved

Click the selection box to the right.

If the articles are inside of a batch project, first click on the project and then the selection box.

Step 3: Click “Order human edits”

If you are using a different language than English, this button will be called something else. It will be located at the same place, to the left.

Step 4: Add instructions for the editor

You will be presented an instruction field. In this field you can add extra instructions for the editor.

If you don’t add anything, the editor will be given these instructions:

“This is a text written by an AI. It is your job to proofread it. Check for weird sentences.

If the language is not English, especially look for sentences that soundss like direct translations of English. “

Write the instructions in English.

The proofreader is native to the language but the project managers and the quality assurance team might not be. So it’s best to write in a language that everybody at Topcontent understands – and that’s English.

Examples of instructions to add:

Make sure the text is informational and not selling.
Make sure the text is positive about the product.
Make sure the text is not promising winnings. (important for a casino site)
Make sure the text doesn’t give finance advice. (important for Forex/Crypto/finance)
Make sure the text is correct Swedish/Norwegian/Danish etc.

Step 5: Click the Order Human Edits button

This will place the order of human proofreading.

Price and delivery time of human proofreading

Allow 4-5 days for delivery. Humans are not as fast as the AI.

The price is 10 credits.

If you are a Limitless client you need to add your Topcontent Crowd API key. Your Topcontent Crowd account will be deducted a price/word depending on the language selected. Talk to your account manager to get an up to date price list.
